Another Snow Day!

Can you spot the bald eagle up in the tree?

Molly just loves the snow and loves playing in it. We are having more snow fall today and I am sure I speak for most of the country when I say....ENOUGH ALREADY!

Christmas Day 2008

We enjoyed Christmas Dinner again this year with Teresa and Bruce. The only difference this year is that we are not in Arizona. We are in Osoyoos, BC instead. It was a nice day, 0c and partially sunny which is a great relief as it has been very cold this past week.

We had a pretty quiet day otherwise and did some phoning and catching up with friends and family and tonight we are sitting back relaxing.....so full we can hardly move.

Christmas Tree

It is cold here today -13C and we are snuggled up inside. We headed out long enough to pick up some supplies and shake off the cabin fever. Molly even finds it too cold on her paws to stay out for very long.

We took a couple of pictures of the tree. Not many days now till that jolly old man squeezes his fat ass down the chimney.......maybe he will have to use the exhaust pipe in our case LOL. Hope everyone is keeping warm and taking some time to enjoy the season.

Snow Day!

We had about 8 inches of snow overnight and it is still snowing! I think the only one excited about the snow is Molly. It is -6 today but is supposed to go down to -22 this week and we are thinking Canada may not be such a good place to hang out in winter.

NK' Mip Christmas Party

We went to the Christmas party today and it was lots of fun. There were 110 people there and the hall was beautifuly decorated. I even got to sit on Santa's knee! We had a Chinese gift exchange after dinner and that was a riot.

The dinner was great with the meat and potatoes being supplied by the RV Park and the sides and deserts were pot luck. There was way too much food and they are doing up the left overs as soup and sandwich tomorrow. They are a great group and lots of fun. Both David and I were glad we went and Molly said it wasn't fair that she had to stay home.

Desert Model Railroad

We went to see the Desert Model Raliroad today and it was really amazing. There are literaly miles of track and the amount of work that must have gone into the project is unbelievable. I was really glad I had gone and would really recomend that anyone visiting the Osoyoos area take the time to stop and see the railroad.
