David, Cora and I went to see Gordon Lightfoot at the Center for Performing Arts in Vancouver and it was an excellent concert. He sang lots of old songs that we knew and only took one brief intermission....not bad for an old guy.

Kris Kristofferson Concerrt, Burnaby April 4 2009
We were lucky enough to get to see Kris Kristofferson in concert last night and it was great. I was happy to hear some of the old songs that I knew and a few new ones too. He put on a great show.

The Irish Rovers Concert March 17 2009
David, Cora and I were lucky enough to see the Irish Rovers in concert this St. Patrick's Day
. It was one of the best concerts I have been fortunate enough to see. They sang some new songs and some of the old favorites...Black Velvet Band, The Unicorn, Wasn't it a Party and of course many more. It was like being at a house party and it was clearly visible that the artists were having fun performing their music. It was the best St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Vancouver BC
We went to see the St. Patrick's Day Parade today and although it rained and yes even snowed a bit it was a great parade. There were lots of people braving the elements and everyone seemed in great spirits.
