Robinson Square, The Art Gallery, BC Pavilion and the Aboriginal Pavilion

From partying in the street to having pictures taken in a bobsled the whole crowd was getting involved in Robinson Square. There is something strange about cherry trees blooming as a backdrop for a bobsled.

The Spirit Tree at the BC Pavilion is made from a 266 year old tree that fell in Stanley Park during the huge windstorm of 2006.

The Aboriginal Pavilion was nice and although not very informative was entertaining.

This was at the Aboriginal Pavilion.

Atlantic House Feb. 25 2010

We went to see Altantic House on Granville Island today and it was great. We saw a great performance by these singers/dancers. It was very lively and just like a house/kitchen party. They had the audience joining in stomping feet clapping their hands and singing along. It was a great show and well worth the trip.

Olympic Torch and Robinson Square

We headed downtown again today to see some of the sights. We saw the Olympic torch and took some pictures. We did not go up on the viewing platform though and will do that some other day. We then headed for the German beer tent and had some lunch...yummy. Then it was on to Robinson Square where we got to see lots of street performers and people selling their wares. It was great.
