Salt Spring Island BC

Here we are about to board the ferry headed for Salt Spring Island and a day of adventure.

We collected some Salt Spring Island dollars (yes they have their own legal tender), spotted a small island just off shore that we would love to live on, saw many sheep farms and yes even saw this Daisy Hill People Farm (we were afraid to go in).

The road up to the Mt. Maxwell Viewpoint was pretty steep in places but the view was well worth it.

We saw deer along the highway and wild daffodils.

This is St. Paul's Catholic church in Fulford. It was built in 1809 with the volunteer help of Hawaiians and their First Nations Famlies who contributed to the construction.
